Imperial X is the protector of the X-Zone. It's said numerous times that, The Gods ride on it. It is one of the 3 Imperials - Imperial Dragon, Imperial X and Imperial Tiger. All Idaten Bikes were created by Takeshi Yamato, with the exception of Imperial X.
Imperial X existed after the battle between the
demon and the original MTB rider in the X-Zone. It's said by legends that, Imperial X is the bike of gods, it's a system made by ancient people of X-Zone, to balance both Positive Energy and Negative Energy there. Imperial X is a bigger and more powerful version of Imperial Dragon. Since the energy surrounding Imperial Dragon can take the form of a dragon, Imperial X's energy takes the form of a dragon with 10 heads. It means Imperial X is 10 times better than Imperial Dragon, the bike Takeshi Yamato built and send to Sho's world when he got free from the possession of the demon for some time.
It was taken by Takeshi Yamato after he became possessed by the Demon.
This bike is clearly not for riding of anyone, it's only purpose is to keep maintaining balance between positive and negative energy. If a person tries to ride Imperial X, he/she should have the skills of acceleration, agility, explosive power, impact and sustainability in himself/herself and he/she should be master of trial skill, uphill and downhill racing. If a person will try ride Imperial X without having all these ability, then it would be next to impossible to use Imperial X for him/her. And so this can be the reason, that why Demon chose only the Takeshi Yamato for his possession, because he would've all of these abilities in himself already.
As it is makes balance between Positive and Negative Energy, it's special moves are also positive and negative variation. It's negative special move named darkness is growing; destruction is coming, in which it get covered up in dark cloud and send a group of 10 monstrous skulls on its opponent, the skulls cover the opponent all around and then it form a huge explosion. It's positive move is Idaten Miracle Jump, and it get used by Takeshi Yamato in the last battle, but might be, it'd be with another name.
When Takeshi Yamato was using Imperial X, he could use its power to create entirely new MTB tracks in a matter of minutes.
The Imperial X and Takeshi Yamato defeated Flame Kaiser and Sho Yamato and took away its platinum emblem. Later in a rematch, Sho defeated Imperial X with the combined forces and skills of the seven Idaten bikes - Flame Kaiser (Sho Yamato) ; Bloody Fang (Gabu Samejima) ; Thunder Emperor (Kyoichi Shido) ; Neptune (Makoto Shido) ; Aero Scissors (Koei) ; Hammer Head (Arthur) and Imperial Dragon (Ayumu Yamato).
